Would you like a cup of tea?
We wanted to end the term and the year (2017-2018) with something different and special, but yet with an English flavour.
Nothing better than a healthy breakfast to start the day and close the academic year in a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. We planned an English breakfast that ended up being a continental one.
So, on Friday 15th June during the English class we gathered together 1st C with 1st B. we invited teachers over, Vicente (1st C tutor) was present, as well as Pilar one of our head teachers. María José from the councelling department did not want to miss the event.
Everyone loved the atmosphere, the sharing….
Lidia Blanco, Laura Fernández and Rebeca González helped the teachers to lay the table for every one. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, a special cake that our dear teacher Paola from 1st G had baked, fruit, biscuits, milk, hot chocolate and the star of the day without argument: Lidia’s gluten-free chocolate cake that she had made. Incredibly tasty!!!Everyone tried it and sang her praises.
We had a wonderful time and we would have loved to have shared it with those classmates who could not make it.
Without a doubt it was the kind of breakfast that we will keep in our minds and hearts for the years to come.
Ana Isabel Sánchez González (English teacher)
“I think it was great! Because after spending the whole year studying and doing homework, it was a good idea to have a laugh, relax and to be with our classmates having a good time within a classroom setting!!”
Lidia Blanco Cruz (2º ESO)
